“No child should be held hostage because of parental separation. He/She independently loves his/her two parents, sources of life, necessary for the construction of his/her life and for his/her daily and future development. Front of the situations of parental exclusion and parental alienation, the child, the first victim, is always too often neglected, his/her opinions not counting and when (s)he is thus manipulated, psychologically, by one of his/her parents, in the middle of a terrible parental conflict due to the separation, his/her rights then remain infringed; his/her legitimacy to family life (Part of the Human Rights Convention), including both his/her maternal and paternal family, is flouted to the highest degree. The child has become an instrument of his/her parents' conflict, if not a strategic weapon in order to satisfy the most vile designs of the manipulative parent seeking, at all costs, to eradicate the child's relationship with the other parent, Consequently, the child suffers major psychological abuse, the consequences of which may mark him/her for life. This is why the great urgency is to put an end to it as soon as possible. Regarding the most serious cases, the French Family Justice is almost totally incapable taking into account these particular situations (Today, about 25% to 30% of all parental separations in the country). Indeed the family justice is not prepared, not trained and most often unstructured, even becoming incompetent to act given the lack of listening, the lack of staff training in these particular and sensitive situations, the lack of time and resources. Under these conditions, unacceptable errors and flagrant injustices accumulate, starting with the non-application of the law, the non-application of certain judgments rendered, even though they are enforceable, and even the neglect of the rights of victims (children and adults). FAN PAC (Family Advocate Network Political Action Committee) will build a Wall of Hope and Love at the NJ State House Annex on PAAD 4/25/2022. 9am-4pm. Can be attended in person or virtually. Participants are encouraged to add a heart to the wall with a message, image, or keepsake to honor the love for a child(ren). Virtual attendees may submit ahead of time.
